I really wished that I had gotten a shot of everyone, but I missed a few folks. It's always good to put names to faces and hopefully I can convey some personality to the names. We have a great group of individuals that bring a lot to the table. If you weren't there, this is part of what you missed. Feel free to add images to this list.
Sorry ahead of time that this will be a long post full of images.
We all need fatherly advice, and many of us wished we had fathers like this. Brian Simpson brought his daughter along to share the experience of the Richland Creek area. She has the right attitude and seemed very comfortable with the camera out in the wilderness. No doubt she will be a (already is from what I heard) fine photog and perhaps a future member too.
Final post of this long set of images. We had tons of fun and I can't wait to scroll down below this post to see what other photog images were captured. This is Zack on the ledge waiting for the sunset at Sam's Throne.

Awesome images! Looks like a great time was had by all and that the liquid sunshine did not slow you down.
We were all looking rough! It's tough to camp out four days/three nights waiting out thunderstorms under rock shelters and sometimes tents and still look good. I'm sure there are some good ones of me looking rough! At least I'm home after a week on the road. Resting time has arrived!

It appears you scenery folk had a great time at the GATHERING. Of course, none of you had to lug around any BIG GLASS!!! or a Wimberly Gimbal mount!

Looks like you had a blast!
Matt- You are living proof that you really don't need a $1000.00 tripod to get great, sharp photo's. Or hiking boots for that matter! That's awesome.
Thanks Aaron. That mirror lock up sure in nice, but I think a tripod is the next purchase on my list. I have good stability now, but I want to get quite a bit higher.

Mike, of all the shots you could have taken of me, why did you insist on doing it the one day I put on those boots with my shorts?

Mike, it was great finally meeting you and Karla. Too bad I didn't get to go on any shoots with you. I only got one shot at camp... here is Dottie and Jon taking refuge under the canopy while Saturday night's meal was cooking...
