Turnstone (Arenaria interpres) - reflection
Taken recently in Norfolk. I have dozens of shots of these most trusting of birds from the last few years, but I was happy with this one because of the absolutely still water and resultant reflection.

Camera Model Canon EOS-1D Mark III
Tv( Shutter Speed ) 1/5000
Av( Aperture Value ) 5.0
ISO Speed 400

Excellent shot as above (and perfectly horizontal which is something I always mess up!).

Hi Graham, I think it an optical illusion, but it might need a slight rotation CCW based on the trailing water line? Might also suggest a slight opening up of the darker areas to bring out more detail. Good colour and the reflection works well and there is room for the TS to move into.

Hi Graham,

Now thats a reflection! You could almost flip it upside down and not notice if it wasn't for the bg. All been said, great shot in very nice light!

Cheers,

Lewis.
