Imagine a local football pitch with lots of activities in the evening and weekends. Not the most suitable place to raise five little rabbits, is it? There is however a rabbit that manages very well. She made a shallow nest burrow in front of the changing rooms, right under a pair of boot brushes. The burrow is completely open, but the young ones are doing very well. It is hardly surprising that they get a lot of attention, especially from children. This picture was taken last Friday, when their eyes were already open. This morning I was told that they'd all left the nest so hopefully they are all well.

Certainly has the 'ahhh' factor, and a very nice story to go with it. Excellent.

Kittens.. Always nice to see and I love the fact that mum plucks the hairs from here underside in order to line the nest.

Great encounter and story.
