Lenses and new camera body

I'm considering the purchase of a
Canon 5D (12.1 megapixels) or the
newest model, Canon 5D Mark II.
Will my lenses listed below be
compatible with either of these
camera bodies which I may purchase?
Presently, I have the Canon 10D for
which these lenses seem to be satisfactory.
Also I can't seem to find any of the old
5D (except for used ones) for sale out of
the major companies such as B&H or Adorama.
If I elect to go that route, do you know
where I might be able to purchase a new (hot
used) older model Canon 5D (12.1 megapixels)?
Thank you for your advice.

Canon EF 24mm 1:2.8
Canon EF 50mm 1:1.8
Canon Macro Lens 100mm 1:2.8
Tamron AF Aspherical XR Di LD (IF) 28-300 1:3.5-6.3 Macro 62

All of the Canon lenses listed here will work on the 5D. Any EF lens will work on the 5D.

I can’t confirm the Tamron, but I would guess that it too would work. I would check with the lens manufacturer.

It may be impossible to find a new 5D. I had good results getting a used one on Craigs list.

As noted - all the Canon lenses will fit 5D or 5D Mark II and if Tamron mount is same, it will too. The only problem with lens compatibility is if you purchase one of the "made for digital" lenses. These are made for the 10D, 20D, 30D, 40D, 50D, 7D series and all the Rebels to mitigate the 1.6 crop factor and "give back" wide angle capability. In some cases these lenses may not even mount on other bodies. These are denoted by Canon as EF-S lenses. Since yours are all EF, you should be fine.

Regarding a new 5D, I doubt you'll find one. Canon discontinued making them quite a while ago now and I'd be very surprised that anybody would not have sold all their stock by now. You'll be much better served by the 5D Mark II anyway so save up or just splurge and get it. I upgraded from 5D to 5D Mark II and am very happy.

To all who have responded, thank you.

Even though it has a 1.6 crop factor, the 10D was developed before EF-S lenses. the 20D was the first body in the series that was compatible with EF-S lenses. I believe that any Canon lens that is compatible with the 10D will also be compatible with any other EOS body, including those with full frame sensors. Not sure about independent manufacturers' lenses.
