Western Slope weather update.

Not posting this shot for a "photo critique" but more for what you folks heading to the Western Slope this weekend can expect. Yesterday I was driving around with the top off of my Jeep in 80 degree weather. I was surprised to wake up this morning to see my neighbor across the street with his sprinklers on watering his SNOW!! Come prepared.

Yep, I was up in Canyonlands this morning and it snowed like hell. Unbelievable this late in the year.

When I first looked at this photo I assumed it was your guest house. Apparently not. Pretty nice neighborhood you live in.

Jim ~ Yea ~ that's the "Dawg House" I am always in when my wife throws me out. LOL
Don't let that photo fool you....my house is nothing like that. You wouldn't think so....but I do have better views of the Monument from across the street here than he has over there.

Rick, you (and my brother) brought this on yourselves. My brother took the hardtop off his jeep 3 weeks ago after we had the 80 degree day and I told him he was a bit early and it would snow at least two more times. He just laughed and said, "what are the chances it'll snow after it's reached 80 degrees?" Well, 100%, last Friday it snowed for the second time since he took off the top.

Was in Moab on Weds and got the hell out of there and headed south. WINDY is an understatement, as visibility was literally about 20 yards coming through Monument Valley. Stopped at Goosenecks just for kicks and this is what it looked like there in the afternoon.
