I'm working on a submission and the company has requested that I include the photo caption in the IPTC field of each photo. What the heck is the IPTC field and where is it found?!

Thanks,

In Photoshop, go to "File>File Info". You'll find a selection for IPTC data. It's part of the user assigned Metadata for the file. If you just put your caption in the "Description" box under the "Description" tab (the selection at the top left), it will be carried to the IPTC Description field. It's also a good practice to put your copyright information in there while your at it, especially on any file that you send out. If you want to get more info on IPTC, just type it into the search box in Photoshop Help.

That's what I thought but I couldn't find an "IPTC" field. Thanks for the quick response, Bob!
