I feel estatic, I sold three pictures this week, for me I feel I have crossed a major hurdle. After becoming a member of this site a few months ago, I decided to try and sell some of my work. 2 of the three pictures I sold, one of a baby green heron with the long neck and a picture of a fawn nursing at Skyline drive in the woods. I took your feedback, made adjustments printed them and they sold.
You all have given me the confidence to pursue what I want to do as a hobby and yes make a little money on the side.
To think that three of my pictures are hanging in the home of strangers, is, well, I don't have the words to discribe it.
Congratulations on the sales! I can remember not too long ago I would have been thrilled if someone stole one of my pictures... just knowing that someone else thought it was worth it. Great feeling and I'm sure you'll continue on this journey.
