This little fella was hanging out with a Painted Bunting. When the Bunting left, he also left. Sorry not to post an image here, but the images really are not very good at all. I live in southeast Georgia...that might help in the ID process. Saw the bird today 05-01-10. Thanks for any help y'all can give. It does not quite match my bird books.

The images are on my website in this gallery:

Be sure you get the whole url. If this does not work, then go to my website as listed here in NPN, then to Nature, and then to the bottom of the page to the Unknown Bird Gallery.

Thanks again,

Female American Redstart, Troup. The yellow crescents on the tail are distinctive and make a relatively easy ID.

Hey Jim, Thanks for taking the time to check it out and id the bird! Now that I look around...that's it! I have changed the wording in the gallery and have given you and NPN credit for IDing the bird. Many many thanks!
I renamed the Gallery to American Redstart...but the original url still works.

Pretty cool, someone from Alaska ID's a bird way down in Georgia! Ain't the internet awesome!

Figured out I had both a female and a male American Redstart.
