Bee Hard at Work
Took about 20 shot chasing the bees in among the wild flowers down in the South Fork of the Stanilaus River Canyon this morning. This one looks reasonably sharp for being hand held.

Would like some comments on the BG - I pulled out some saturation and also reduce the focus with Nikon NX2.

Nikon D300, AF 105 2.8 VR Macro, 1/640, F13, ISO 200, hand held

Dan,

The soft focus background really emphasizes the center of attention the flower and bee ( Actually a type of Bee mimic fly just like the Viceroy butterfly that mimics the Monarch color pattern some flys dress themselves in bee colors.). Nice capture.
