Six Finger Falls
With all the storms last night I just KNEW today would be good. Creeks would be rising. Boy was I wrong. I guess hardly any dumped in the Buffalo River area draining Falling Water Creek. Stream gages told me that before I left but I was commited to see what was there anyway. Since it was to be cloudy I made a late start at about 0430 and took my time. My bride came with me for the first time. Anyhoo not too much water but enough to shoot. Here is a shot of Six Finger Falls and I also got into Fuzzybutt Falls to shoot a bit. Next I tried to hike into where the creek splits and goes north to Keefe and south to the un-named but beautiful falls. A tough slog and no water. About a quarter mile up the drainage the water went away and I was hoping for underground and a reappearance. It did reappear higher up but very low and then not at all. So you folks who made it in there last weekend at the gathering caught it great. Susan loved the trip(she stayed in the truck but come down to check out Six Finger and also Falling Water Falls and now she will come a bit more) and loved her chicken-fried steak at Ozark CAfe to cap the adventure. :toast: (yeah maybe it is tilted abit to the right but I'm tired darnit!!)

I like this composition Bob. And I second the cheese volcano recommendation!

I like this point of view as well. Does the Ozark Cafe make anything that is actually not good? Ive never been disappointed there.
