West of Fort Worth
Made a morning drive west of Cowtown on a cloudy day. Found some clouds and some flowers along the way. Here are a few from the morning.

Flowers along the roadside.

It has been a cool spring here and we have had enough rain to make it a nice flower season

Love the whole series Darren...I really like the last one...It would make Lady Bird Johnson proud!
One of these days I'm gonna make it down there to shoot me some wildflowers!

Nice wildflower shots! I especially like the first one. It does look like it has been a bumper year for wildflowers in Texas.

Darren - I will be back in FTW in July. Any suggestions on trails to visit? I will be on bicycle for some of it, beginning with the drainage canal through Fort Worth.

Last time I bicycled in West Fort Worth was 1990 when I rode the Cowtown 100, so my knowledge is rather out of date.

The flowers are very nice, but give me the open range any day. I like the clouds, the green of the plains, and even man's intrusive barbed wire fence. Thanks for sharing.

Great series Darren. I really like the mix of the blue and yellows in the first one, and the comp in the last one is pretty sweet.

As the others have said, great series. I really like the dramatic sky in #2.
