Rabbit
I went out to photograph Wheatears last week, but I ended up with rabbits.
Nikon D80 @ 500 mm, iso 200, F 6,3, 1/125 sec on a beanbag.

Nowt wrong with rabbits .I'd take them any day of the week .
'Ended up with rabbits '! And I bet you're glad you did with an image like this . Lovely BL and overall a nice feel to the image. Have you tried upping the WB a tadge to say 6000k?

Very nice Sandra, The backlit effect enhances this image.

I would try and rotate things to eliminate the slope and see how it looks.

Cheers

very nice lighting Sandra, well taken. I also wonder whether a slightly warmer WB might enhance this even more?

Thanks you all for your comments.
@ Mark: Yes I'm glad I did indeed. I'm very pleased with the result.
@ Matt & Mark: No, I haven't tried a warmer WB, but it certainly is a good suggestion.
@ Austin: the terrain was quite rolling, so I just left it as it was.

Gorgeous light on this one - makes a very peaceful image. I would also level it though.

What a lovely image, agree with the wb and rotation, the backlighting and detail retained really make this great...
