Hi,

Its that time of year again... A green Winged Orchid from this morning at one of Kents most well known sites. Image is straight from the camera, all I have done is changed the white balance on conversion.

The overcast but slightly bright conditions meant that inbetween showers the light became perfect for these....

All the best

I am really envious of this image Phil. Super detail in the blooms, perfect light, and loads of mush which I am really fond of ! Love it very much, it's a cracker!!

A first class shot Phil. I really like this style of image for plants. Off-setting the Orchid gives it that extra something too. :toast: :toast:

Beautiful Phil,

A good use of a 300mm as many would have selected a 180mm or 100mm for this subject.

Excellent.

Cheers

Austin

I've had a go at these with a 180mm Macro but not really been over the moon with the results. You've inspired me to go longer. A lovely image :toast:

Lovely and sharp. Great mush in the foreground. I adore these kind of shots with lots of mush.
