What a beautiful animal. Love the sand on the face too. Looks like has been up to no good :toast:

That's very nice indeed. The mischievous look on his face is priceless and the sand on his head adds a welcome extra element to the portrait. :toast:

Very nice Lea... perhaps a touch on the light side, but nothing major, got to love the look....

Looks a tad light to me as well, but nothing that cannot easily be fixed. You have to love that wide-eyed look.

Hi Lea, certainly an appealing image and cubs always have the 'cute' factor, but sadly with the high ISO, possible slight camera shake & SS, the image is soft. Unfortunately the face lacks real detail & character especially the eyes. If you want to do more might suggest using a support ie bean bag or tripod/cable release to aid the shot, plus stopping to say f/5.6 to increase SS. If you want inspiration for cubs, look at Dave Courtney's site. A real inspiration to us all a few years back.

Good luck.

A fine capture . Not too sure on the softness of the image suggested perhaps the lens itself ?Fur detail looks good from here .
Dave's cub images are as Steve suggests something else...
Such an appealing study though and that look is so cute.

Hello Lea.

Great start and I love the way you have caught the cub just in front of the entrance.

Defintely has the cute factor. Those eyes suggests that butter wouldn't melt lol. Agree with the nits, but still a very fine image and a pleasure to view.

Looks sharp enough to me. Maybe a little light in colour as suggested but a beautiful image well captured. I would more than happy to have taken this Lea. :wavey:
