Haw Creek has been popular lately so I thought I would add a couple from early April of Haw Creek Falls. Sorry, I have not been posting lately because I have been working since early March to upgrade my American Canoe Association Instructor certification to level 4 whitewater. It was a lot of hard work but I have been wanting to do this for several years and this was the year. Got that done and passed the test, so I am ready to get back to taking photos.
I did sneak out one day in early April and take a few photos. This view is from a little downstream of Haw Creek Falls.
Congratulations on your certification. Nice shots of the falls. I had to look close in the lower left hand corner of the first one to make sure no cottonmouth was hiding there.
These are really sweet, Tom. The shutter speed was perfect - I especially like the softness of the water in the fg of the first one. Great detail in the rocks too. And to top it off, a nice, sweet little redbud to ice the cake.
Congratulations on getting your certification - sounds like a difficult process.

Congrats on the certification, but I won't be shooting any rapids with you. I can't swim a lick
I see you haven't lost your touch. Great composition on both of these.
