love the way the eye is lead to the business end a nicely captured Egger. :toast:

Hi Guy, reminds me of a catherine wheel, but don't light it!!!

The detail, light and comp are all there and to your usual high standard, I just find the BG stems just too busy & distracting, although the diagonal stem does give it structure. A difficult one for me Guy

Great detail again bud . The balance is very good but top left a tadge bright and the blur tool over the top right ?

Very nice detail in the subject. I'd crop to the top of the two upward pointing leaflets on the right.

Hi Guy. Really nice but the left hand corner is dragging my eye off a bit. As Mark said a bit of selective blur may help. Im not sure if a slice of the top may help compositionally - maybe 1.5cm.

Hello and thanks for your comments.

I new this was going to be one of those images that might not go down to well but I thought I would give it a go, and thanks for your honest thoughts.

Hi Guy,
I think this works very well indeed. Your macro images are always inspiring, with this one being no exception.
