The power of concentration.
One from way back, the raw image looked so soft at the time I disregarded it but always liked the shot. I’ve reworked it, its still not pin sharp but shows the bird in a classic pose of concentration.

20D-300mm f2.8-ISO400-1/320 at f7.1-handheld (can’t do that now!)

Lovely pose, shame about the noise that's crept in due to the sharpening I guess you've carried out here - particulary top left.

Did you run through any NR software or try any selective sharpening ?

I agree with Graham about the noise, but the bird itself is beautiful.

I’m off to Speck Savers because I can’t see any noise but I bow to your superior eye sight and have run it through Noisware, is it any better? Thank’s chaps.

Hi Bob it is there and although the rework has improved things its still there in patches. A layer mask may help reduce it further .
