This is one of those images that I wished I had paid more attention too while making the image. But it was very dark and I couldn't see the top of the tree. As you notice, my image is missing the top of the tree. This is a 5 stitch with a 24mm under the full moon.
When I left the house, the sky was full of great clouds. When I arrived at the tree, the clouds were almost gone. I had time for one test shot(focus and lighting) and then time for the five shots to make up the pano before the clouds were gone. After I rendered the shot, I noticed my error. Oh well, I still like it and wanted to post it.
This tree is well known to the Conway photogs due to it's location in the nearby bean fields.
Fantastic image Mike. I didn't even notice the tops of the tree missing until I read your description. The lighting on the tree is so unusual, in a very good way.
Mike, this is like a singer who missed one note in an otherwise excellent performance. Nobody notices until it's pointed out. I sure didn't notice it and even having pointed out, I don't think it detracts from the overall scene at all. If it bothers you, you can always clone out some of the top branches and no one will be the wiser (except me and John at this point.)Good job, I say.

I might clone out those house lights on the lower left to give it more of an out in the country feeling.
