A local public gardens invited area artists of various mediums to display their artwork outdoors in the gardens during the summer. I am displaying an image I took in the gardens printed 24 x 36 on canvas. The printer I went with (Aspen Creek Photo) applies a "waterproof protective laminate" coat, but I assume this isn't intended to protect artwork that will be outside 24 x 7 for four months. While I recognize there is probably nothing that will work 100%, does anyone have any suggestions for something that will further protect the artwork so it will hold up reasonably well at least for the time it will be displayed but will not ruin or substantially degrade the image? thanks
Hey Scott, check with a local sign company, they have to make signs for outside use all the time. They may be able to print your image and laminate it onto a product that is made for outdoor use.
