This may be of interest for those of you figuring out how to spend you bonuses &/or tax refunds.

B&H has a sale (till March 13?)
Go to their site and search for PSJAN06
It should find 450 items with a sale price LOWER than you will see if shopping without this code.

For example:
Canon 5D sale $2,895 normal $2,970

The sale includes quite a variety of items and companies.
(Sorry no LF)

Augh! I shouldn't have looked. The Spyder 2 I just got two weeks ago is $20 cheaper. The 1GB 80x Lexar cards that had a $40 rebate on them up until two days ago are only $85.

oh my, this makes the 5D a bit more enticing.....to be broke..or not to be broke....that is the question.

Ohhh if only I weren't on the scary side of broke! :frown:

Thanks for the 'heads up'! I've been looking at buying another DSLR for a week or two. My 20D will soon be going in to Canon for the infamous Err99 repair thing. It only happens once in a while though - but I just don't want it to happen again in front of a paying customer!

I've been looking at getting a 1DS used or II N, but the 12 MP on the 5D is very tempting.

Anyway, I just ordered a 5D for $2894.95 at B&H! :toast:

I'm very happy!!! It will compliment my 20D, 10D, and EOS3

Thanks!

Kathy

Hey, Kathy, I'm glad I helped you spend your money.
I hope you like the 5D.

ha ha Bill!

Really thanks! - I've been looking at the 5D for a couple of weeks. Yes, the 30D was also a contendor but I need another camera now and already have a 20D. PLUS the 12MP was extremely tempting for me!

So I got a save a few $$!

GREAT!

OH I wish Fed EX would arrive!
