I can only apologise for this not being wildlife or nature. However it IS the main reason I've not been able to do much photography for the last couple of months. Plus, I thought those of you that watch Sky News might find it fun to see. Basically I've practically lived at work during the run up to the election and the switch of Sky News to HD. Now it's all over I'm hoping I can get back some more free time to get out with the camera again!

So this shot signifies my freedom from work (to an extent) and hopefully a return to nature

10 shots, D3, 50mm AFS, 1/80, f5.6, ISO 1600

This is 720 pixels, you can see 1800 pixels wide on my blog, here - which comes highly recommended!

Says everything about modern tv to me. All front and no substance. It all looks so solid on the box but it's just a load of gaily painted plywood really. I like the island of light in a sea of darkness effect of this shot. nice.

lol, thanks Eric. Surprisingly it's almost all totally solid apart from a few sheets transparent plastic to shine lights through.
