Bluebird
One of the things I discovered a number of years ago is that Bluebirds love to eat Sumac seeds. In a few days they, along with Robins, will clean up any Sumac available. Knowing this allows me to get some close up shots. April is Bluebird photography time on the farm.

There are a few more Bluebird photos on my website

Comments are welcome.

Great shot as usual. nice light and detail. Didn't know bout the Sumac, will have to watch for that. The views on your web are nice as well. Like the male 09-55-003.

Very nice, Phillip. Probably the best shot I have seen from you here! I have tried forever to capture a shot like this of a Bluebird.

Very nice shot, Phil! I like the red, blue and green colors here, with the bird perched on its favorite spring treat. Thanks for sharing the story and he shot, I'll be looking for this situation here in Michigan as the bluebirds migrate through the area.
