A strong Spring storm will move through northern Colorado this coming week. I am gaining confidence that the storm track will bring a major dumping of snow to RMNP, probably several feet by weeks end for the park. Bulk of the snow should fall late tuesday through wednesday. Front range should get a decent snowfall as well. I'm looking forward to the beautiful Spring snow shots that our N CO members are destined to post here in this forum

How's the outlook for the Steamboat/Flat Tops area, Stan? I'm watching the outlook for Yampa flows with bated breath these days. No chance of it being a great year, of course, but this cooler weather should postpone the peak and make our flows last better.

Jackson, they should get some snow, just not the real heavy snow im predicting for RMNP, the winds should be from the east which means big snow for the east side of the divide, not so much the western portion of the state. But its still a few days off, so that could change.

Thanks for the heads-up, Stan. Stensland is probably going to head for Arizona again.

Time to get the skis prepped for another season! I'm actually looking forward to it. It feels like I've missed this entire winter. Thanks for the heads up Stan!

Still looks on track for a big snowfall up Erik's way. The big ? is for Denver--if they get anything it should be Wednesday morning. If the storm comes in slightly colder than expected, it could get interesting.

Stan,

Any idea how far south the storm might reach in the mountains?

Unfortunately, the storm is heading farther north than expected, which will leave us poor folks in southern Colorado high and dry. But at least RMNP will still get a good dump.
