Pied Flycatcher. Thanks to Mike.
I just wanted to thank Mike Smith for organising the elan/gigrin trip again. The weather was against us from the start and most of the birds we were hoping to see were in short supply. Thanks to Mike's efforts however I think we all came away with some shots. Mike arrived a day or two early and put out some mealworm feeding stations which attracted in the pied flycatchers and thanks to his forethought I got my best PF images to date, so I really appreciate it Mike.
It was great to meet you all and I hope those that went on to Gigrin found that it lived up to our descriptions and that you all filled your CF card(!) followed by safe journeys back to Ireland and the SW.
Shaun - post one soon so I can get my own back.
Great day lads, thanks.

Light was grim all day but got this shot at the death.

Very nice Eric - often the males aren't as black as this and considering the light a good result!

Well done to Mike as well!

Nicely done with good comp. Well exposed for what could be a difficult subject.
