The book I got the noise filter tip from is called Photoshop LAB Color, The Canyon Conundrum by Dan Margulis.

It's not an easy book to follow but it introduces a whole new way to work your photos. So far, I've been able to get results I've dreamed of using only Curves in LAB mode.

I highly recommend it.

I have played around with Lab color a little. I'm interested in learning more. Where did you get the book?

Thanks! I just purchased the Lab Color and CS2 raw books from amazon for $25.00. I saved $35.00 if I applied for a amazon credit card. I don't like credit cards so in this case since there is no annual fee, i just won't use the card anymore. :cool:

Tim Gray's PS for Nature Photographers is supposed to be pretty good also.
