Hi,

Can anyone recommend a good camera insurance company? There seem to be many, but I'm hoping that someone can suggest one they've used.

Most of my gear is covered by home contents, but I've a new more expensive item (£4500) which may not be covered by that.

Can anyone help?

Regards,

David

Glover&howe or aduki(sp?). Read the small print ESP about in car insurance.

HI David
I posted this same question a few weeks ago when mine was about to renew. The post is here: http://www.naturephotographers.net/imagecritique/bbs.cgi?a=vm&mr=54404&CGISESSID=dad8cb718f2ad729d03f347227bfa29b&u=2813

Following on from the above, Aaduki I contacted but they never got back in touch with me, either via email or by phone, even though I contacted them a few times so I got bored in the end.
Glover and Howe were very good and gave me the best quote and also have the best 'in car' scheme worth up to £15000 which was very good. I managed to get my previous insurers Towergate Camerasure to match their quote and also to increase the 'in car' to the same as G&H. I found out the starting price for insuring camera equipment from Towergate was £300.
Hope this helps.
Regards
Ian
