More Birds
Been having a lot of fun with the variety of birds this Spring. Captured these avocets and the killdeer at Belmar Park in Lakewood this morning. Thanks for looking

Ha! I love #2! I almost ran out to the east side of Severance today. I pass a small lake every day and see a huge variety of birds, but I've never stopped and walked around with my camera. Your photos are really motivating me to get out there.

#2 is special Dan. Great work.

They're both special!
I love the silhouetted avocet and it's broken reflection.
Outstanding work again, Dan!

Dan,

Great work as usual , like the water droplet at the end of the beak on the #1, and also the reflection of it - wow !

Both are great shots Dan. I like the reflection in the avocet shot and the green BG on the kildeer shot is sweet.

The backlit shots always come away as winners when they are so nicely executed! I did not know we had such lovely subjects in the area. Thanks for capturing and sharing them. I think I will have to do some local exploring. Love the light!

Both beautiful images, Dan. I'm partial to the first one though.

Both terrific but that killdeer is as good as it gets.

Both of them are great, I really like #1, with he color of the water and the detail like the drop of water on it's beak.
