Snowy Egrets
I finally had some time to process a few images from this weekend. I went to photograph at City Park on Saturday with Dan and was at Prospest Park this morning before taking my mom to brunch. Her are a few images from Saturday morning. The first couple are of Snowy Egrets in flight and the last one is (I think) a Spotted Sandpiper. I captured him catching a minnow. You can see the minnow floating on the water right before he captures it. These were taken with my 300mm. My 500mm and Mark IV are going to the shop tomorrow after the accidnet of stupidity from last weekend.

Great light on that snowy egret. The sandpiper shot looks pretty sharp as well.

I must say that the light on the "golden slippers" in image #2 is outstanding. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful work, Kurt.
I'm partial to the action and broken reflection in #3, but I truly do like 'em all.
You might consider cropping the top inch of #3 to lose the bright rock in the upper right corner.

Love # 2, nice light, but all are very nice. I, too, dream of getting good bird shots.
