Vixen
latest in the series . She is getting a little more confident over the last few days and despite erratic feeds , her patrol route remains timely and consistent . Dad is a little less predictable choosing his appearances to suit the disturbance levels .

Hi Mark :wavey:

A very good image ( one I would like as it beats my garden fox ) but for me a bit spoiled by the OOF mush covering the lower half of the face

Looking forward to seeing more from you in this series

Hi Mark great face , the mush is there and I guess you take what you can ,if anything it adds to the image .

Bob.

A tad too much mush for me and its clear that she is eating something so i would prefer a closed mouth-it will all come in time

Hi Mark - this project of yours is starting to reap some rewards - like this a lot - mush doesn't bother me too much, you have strong eye contact and great catchlight.
cheers

Great vivid snapshot Mark,
the soft foreground does not disturb me

Would agree with DC, although is she saying 'all gone?'

Thank goodness we don't have Smell-O-Rama Mark, but guess it's the price you pay.

cheers

Excellent focus on the eye, and well timed to capture the mouth open.

Brilliant focussing Mark, but I'm not too sure about the OOF 'mush' in the foreground mate!?

Paul. :wavey:

Nicely done Mark,

I really like the eye contact and catchlights.
Maybe a little too much mush but the mush does add to the atmosphere of the image.

Cheers

Great pose in this one Mark but I'm afraid there is a little too much mush for me. It would have been nice to see the whole of the vixen's face in full detail. Still I would add this to my portfolio - no problem  :wavey:

The mush on the lhs of the face detracts from the image for me.

Like this alot Mark!

I have a new lens now, sold the 70-200mm and have a 100-300mm plus kept the 1.4x TC which works nicely, wouldn't mind meeting up sometime and coming for a shoot with you

Like the overall feel of this. Not sure about a slice off the left or not (very small slice though). Keep working away Mark.

So so sharp Mark, like some of the others the mush is a little too much but that said I would love to have anything half as good of foxes in my collection.

I really like the mush on this one as it frames the head very nicely for me. A really nice shot Mark, I like the soft light on the eyes. Very nicely taken.

The out of focus vegetation adds a different dimension. Good close-up.
