Nice capture, David. The colors are nice and rich and the sharpness is good. Would love to have seen all 5 in whole, but that's not always possible. I like the eye contact.
So, I know they've been doing some rework of Nisqually, are they done yet?
These could possibly be Merganser chicks. Well done.

I went there on Wednesday last week, first time without a camera, and saw mergansers, hooded mergansers, pintails, wood ducks, mallards, gadwalls, eagles, red tails, harriers, etc. Went back Thursday with the 500 and NADA... Got the chicks on Friday but no parents around and nothing else except Canada Geese. On Wednesday, I did see merganser chicks with their parents but they did have different head formations than these chicks and there were 3 of them.
The changes at Nisqually are far from finished. Looks like at least 1-2 years and then another 10 before everything grows back,

Very nice image David. I really like the yellow and blues here.
