Trinidad Bay Rainbow
Got hammered by rain along the north coast on my way to Washington. The weather gods took about 5 minutes of pity as I was approaching Trinidad. Just enough time to capture this image. Look forward to critiques.

My apologies, Craig. When I complemented you yesterday on your fine work,
I meant to say your name instead of someone else.

Fantastic find Craig, I've only seen a full bow like this once.

Definitely worth a day of rain to get 5 minutes like this!

Wow is right! What a scene!!!!! Ain't nature grand and fine job of capturing it.

The web presentation looks a bit over-sharpened on my screen, but very minor nit on a grand image.

Wonder scene during my favorite time of the year along that stretch of coast.:toast:

Thanks very much to all for the comments. Harley, you are no doubt correct about the over-sharpening. I had a difficult time finding the right formula in reducing this for web presentation. Reno, I have to agree--it would be too much to hope for a better photo op with a rainbow as focal point, but I still have to hope for other "once in a lifetime" moments in other subject areas.
