These look great Bob, they all capture great moments. I like #2, they all look like they are in deep thought on how they're going to get into more trouble next.

So cute! These guys must have been fun to watch.
How much time were you able to spend with them?
Posted by Bob Karcz on May 11, 2010 at 5:32 PM
Bill- they come out about 8:30 a.m. when Mom comes back from her hunting trip. She feeds them and they play for about an hour while Mom tries to get a nap. I spent about an hour watching them. Hopefully will get some shots with snow tomorrow morning.

Out of curiosity, do you have a glass UV filter on that lens? I ask because the bokeh in #1 looks very, very strange - exactly the way it does on my 100-400 if I put a UV on it (which I stopped doing years ago).

Kurt- I do have a UV lens on my 100-400 in all 3 pics. I see now what you mean in #1. I will try without UV filter next time I shoot. Thanks for the heads up!

Cute!

No problem Bob. Score one for knowing what UV filter bokeh looks like on a 100-400 with no previous information. Does that make me a photography nerd or what?
