Hi everyone, thanks for the comments on yesterdays Juvenile Robin. Todays upload is the latest in a series of Woodland Birds, and their young(the ones that have hatched anyway) . Hope you like this image of an Adult Blue Tit, as always comments, critique, and advice are greatly appreciated. Many thanks,
Paul. :wavey:

Take an inch of the top and the image would be instantly stronger.
Nice detailed shot, but it is in need of a bit of fill flash to equalise the whites on your bird with the whites on the blossom

Thankyou John, for you're advice, here is the crop, with a little fill in flash added in PS CS3. Any better?

Hi Paul

Great perch, BG and nicely composed. Agree with John that a little could come off the top and the flat lighting has not helped your subject to stand out against its BG.

The repost is much better Paul and shows off more detail in the bird, BG looks good too. What species of plant is the perch?

No idea sorry Andy. Some kind of blossom, lol.

Repost is better, but it now needs a little mid-tone contrast boost around the bird.

How is this?

No.2 for me , but as said the flat lighting hasn't helped . BG and comp are fine with plenty of detail.

No.2 for me as well. I like the diagonal lead in provided by the perch.

Cheers

I like the 3 elements to the picture and it's no.2 for me as well.

Very nice shot but a very flat image.
