For those of you who don't process hasselblad files, your in for a treat. I have long wished for Phocus RAW software to be available for other cameras.
Now you can use their proprietary software (which is quite nice) to process Canon, Nikon, etc...
Due out May 19.
Very cool.
Also "Phocus's open environment by enabling the photographer to share keywords from Aperture and Lightroom"
Yep, Free.
Windows support following (I think a month later).
Interesting to see what they will do on the Windows side. On the Mac OSX side, the general foundation or base recipe of the RAW file (demosaicing, gamma correction, WB, etc) is done by Snow Leopard (API). You can actually sign up at Hasselblad right now and download Phocus 2.0 If you do let me know, I can provide you with a H3D RAW file to play around with. Just shoot me an email if anyone has interest.
