Barn Owl

Barn Owl, photographed the other morning whilst waiting for the Little Owl to turn up, thanks for looking.

Processed in DPP / CS2 ( Slight crop and dust spot removed )

1D3, 500F4IS+1.4T/c, Bean bag, Car window
1/60th @ F7.1 +2/3rds iso800

very nice, the big metallic hide strikes again :) shame re the ring, but you have to live with what nature throws at you, had similar with Black Vultures in Bulgaria and hiding the hideous wing tags !

Hi Keith, the BG is an out of focus meadow thats on an incline, from the base of the fence to the incline is about 300yrds so it makes for a very nice BG.
