Lovely shot !
Not an easy subject to get right I find .

I find the shadows to be a little heavy, more so on the carpet of flowers than on the tree trunks but I like the fact that this is different to the usual 'bluebells under beech canopy' shot and I especially like the depth afforded by the presences of the farthest trees :toast:

Hi Guy

a very pleasant shot which has a depth to it, but I find myself agreeing about the shadows

Suits me fine, even the shadows.  Excellent.

An attractive scene and the composition works well with the trees on either side of the frame helping to frame the clearing.

It's working for me Guy, the trees at the rear of the shot really draw you in, it's a very strong image IMO.
