For anyone who is interested, there are some coyotes hanging around Crown Hill.
Talked to someone who walks around the lake daily and mentioned that they see them almost every morning. Shot one today hunting field mice.
Crown Hill Lake Park is at roughly 30th & Kipling.
The walk around the lake is nice.

The main parking lot is at 26th and Kipling on the east side. Crown Hill is my neighborhood.
This has become the little wildlife hot bed. As I wrote a couple days ago, there are suddenly several mergansers in the lake. There are always lots of Canada Geese, gulls and mallards around too.

What are the specs for this shot?
Lense, f/stop, exposure. The basics.
Great shot!

I used a 500mm lens. The exposure was at 1/3200 sec at f/4.5, Metering at zero.
Thanks!

I didn't mention it before, but Dan, this is a really nice shot.

I agree a very nice shot. Maybe this weekend I will wander over to see this park myself.
Really nice, I've been out East of the Springs out near Falcon and I know of a good sized pack of Coyotes that hunt the fields, and I've seen them out there too. I like this shot nice and intimate! The Garden of the Gods has a few that roam to the Left of the main road right at the T where you have to turn right to go in deeper into the park.

Pretty soon you'll be able to shoot those Yellowstone wolves that are migrating south
