Grand Tetons in B&W
Took this shot a few years back while on a backpacking trip to the west side of the Tetons. Finally got around to working with it. It was originally a color 4x5 tranny converted to B&W, then cropped. I know black and whites don't garner much attention, but I would sure appreciate any comment, critique, opinion or ways to make it better. No Silver Effex here, just Photoshop Layers.

Dean, I like it the way it is! Good job!

Great composition but I think a little more contrast in the mountains is called for.

Wow, this is nice, Dean. I like your processing and the way that dark cloud forces my eye down to the mtns. I'll take this just the way it is.

Love the high mountain lake in the foreground. The dramatic sky is nice too. I think a little lightening and contrast on the tetons would make them more of a focal point but this rendition is nice too.

Nice image. Always wondered what it looked like on the other side

Interesting shot--my only complaint is i wish i could see it bigger!

I like it. Reminds me of the view I had when I lived in Driggs.
Agree with the others re: more contrast in certain areas and perhaps just a slight vignette.

Dean, this looks like another world! Love it. I have the same nit as Stan though...I would like to see it bigger!

This one has a wide varitety of tones and mixed throughout. Makes for a very pleasing image. The sky is just gnarly.
