A small flock of Long-Billed Curlews (I believe I have ID'd them correctly) numbering 10 landed in my pasture this afternoon. I read that a small flock hangs out around Tokeland which is about 55 miles away as the Curlew flies. Is this a rare siting? Sorry that my accompaning photo is of low quality, no good hiding places in my pasture.
