Not exactly nature photography, but certainly a major milestone in our lives...
Our youngest of three children Emily graduated this weekend from Mount Saint Mary College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing - magna cum laude. Needless to say, we are very proud of her and are confident she will make a difference in the lives of many.
A really big achievement in anyone's life to obtain formal training with a certification or a degree in a career such as nursing. Congratulations to Emily, as well as to the proud parents, Jim & Donna.
Jim: Other than the clipped toes on the bottom I like the shot. Err . . this isn't in a critique gallery? All kidding aside many kudos to your whole family. I know how much of a complete family effort this can be. >=))>
Congrats to you all. Although I've been an RN for 25 years, I just completed my BSN a year and a half ago, and can fully appreciate the hard work that goes into it. I wish Emily the best in her professional role, and know there will be moments of joy and reward. I think Sandy sums it up nicely.
Congratulations Emily, Jim and Donna! Graduating with a degree is already an honor in itself but with additional honor (magna cum laude), I don't know what else to say.

Way to go, Em!
BTW: Jim, you cut her toes off.

Nursing is an extremely rewarding, frustrating, heartbreaking, joyous, uplifting, depressing, and did I say - REWARDING ? career.
She will touch and be touched BY every part of humanity and have the chance to make the world a better place.
