Chrs Guys - I didn't want to fiddle too much with this image - I've lightened the bird a tad as he was in particial shade, adjusted colours - again selectively, and used NR on the BG, so not sure where the noise is ?

Hi , very nice bird. made all the better with the fish, i dont see anything wrong, other than its slightly over saturated with colour , easly fixed in PP.
I wouldnt go over ISO 640 with a canon 1D MKIII, BG looks great to me.

I don't think envious quite describes my feeling after seeing this shot Graham, I've tried for ages to capture an excellent shot of a Kingfisher, superb as posted for me.

Well for me this is excellent and I wish I had one as good as this.

Love the lighting on this and the background is very nice.
