Hi all,

Here is one taken in the fields close to home. The sound that these birds make always fascinates me as to my ears it doesn't sound in any way natural.

I had no luck trying to capture one in flight, so I had to settle for an "in the field" image.

C&C most welcome.
Canon 1DMK4, 500mm. 1.4x. ISO800, 1/1600, f5.6

Cheers

Austin

Hi Austin
Good shot,
Looks very dark on my gear. Little more space bottom would help too I reckon.
Great birds eh ?
Cheers

@ John,

Yes it did look a little dark, so I have lightened it a touch. Thanks for your feedback all.

Cheers

Hi Austin,

Nice shot with a nice comp. I love these, brill aren't they, you're right about the noises they make! I'm guessing you were on flight shot settings at ISO800 with 1/1600.

Cheers,

Lewis.

Hello Austin.

I'd be happy with a ground shot as I still have'nt got one of these.

Nice light and colours and love the crest.
