Just got back form Twin Lakes. Also shot Turquoise Lake for sunset yesterday. Turquoise was great--no one up there and it was snowing a bit, plus maybe a foot of fresh snow. Heres Twin Lakes this morn--had to settle for simple comps due to lack of clouds, see another version on ESS, this is a 2 shot stitch.
Among all, #6 stands out to me. I am thinking that a vertical comp with little or no lake and lower camera position (closer to sagebrush) may have worked even better (IMO).

Real nice series of images.
I prefer the pano. crop here more than the 'traditional' one at ES&S.
I always enjoy the muted green/gray colors of shaded sagebrush, so #6 is another favorite.
#7 is an excellent composition, and the golden tones in the water are mighty fine.
Real nice job of 'development' all the way around, too.
Wow, another great set of images, Stan. If I had to choose it would be 1, 7, 5, and 2. Seeing the claret cups brings back memories of growing up in that area.
Very nice series Stand. I love the reflection of Twin lake in number 1 and love trhe comp in the last shot, as well as the inlet shot of Turquoise Lake. Leadville area looks like it is thawing out nicely for such a long and cold winter.
I really like the first 2 and #7. Really nice colours and compositions in #1 & #7, despite there being few clouds. As Erik mentioned that log in #7 creates a nice feel of motion as the water goes around it, and also a nice line for the eyes to follow. Great series!.

Wonderful series Stan. I love the claret cactus as well.
Really likin' 4,5,6,7! All Have excellent elements to them. The sky in 4 kills, especially dig the foreground in 5, and in 6 & 7 I just like the moods, as individual as they may be. Nice work!
Very nice, Stan. The first one is simple, yet beautiful with the light and the reflection. I love twin lakes. Plan on going up there again soon, although farther from me now. Wait, maybe it isn't? LOL. Anyways, who cares how far it is, lots of photo ops. I think the last one is my favorite. Love your capture of the motion of the water, and I think the branch/log adds to it, as it serves as a nice leading line. All are beautiful.
