Another Bishop Iris
I though I would post another image from last weekend in Bishop. This is a MF digital image. It was taken along Brockman Lane. The iris coverage was a little thin, but I just couldn;'t resist this tree. All comments welcome. Best Regards.

It is nice tree but the title has me looking for more iris. The MF is probably picking up more detail in the smaller leaves on the trees! I'm not really sure that is something you can really notice in a web version though. The comp works nicely.

In this image Michael I see many iris plants with unbloomed flower spikes, your other image had flower spikes in the fg that had already seeded. but they could have been just last years. The iris may be better this next weekend. Hope for an extended Iris bloom. I like the tree as a focal point.

Michael,

I really like the trees here, the pretty blue sky and even the background mountains add a nice touch. But even as you mentioned, the Iris's are a little "thin." Nothing wrong with that of course, but to me this isn't about the Iris. But never the less, this is still a lovely capture. I like the soft light as well.

Nice image, Michael. It is a peaceful east side scene. I especially like the light on the mountains in the back.

You are shooting MF digital these days? What system did you pick up?
