Hail destroyed the flower beds of Northern Colorado yesterday. I jumped in my car and headed toward the storm out by the Pawnee to see what I could see. Clouds, rainbows, and windmills everywhere! I'm slowly working my way through CS3 while I'm learning, so here's one shot.

You should call it "Cloud Dance!" Maybe add a little curves adjustment layer to make the highlights pop just a tiny bit more, and add maybe a +10 on overall saturation (on a layer, of course). This is freakin' awesome, kid!
Excellent job bringing out the character of the clouds. On my monitor it doesn't look like you should push any adjustments further, in fact the foreground looks a smidgen too contrasty, and if applicable, spot erase the adjustment layers over the bright spots in the clouds. Stunning weather!
Those are the coolest and scariest clouds I can recall ever seeing. And to have a rainbow ejecting from the bottom - killer! This needs to be printed large and proudly displayed on your wall.

Great job, very dramatic image. I was out around Mead Sunday evening and I saw a similar storm with a small rainbow, but I was too far away to shoot it in time.
Wow! This is one impressive image, Charles. Great drama.
The area just above and to the left of the rainbow looks a bit hot. Any chance of burning that down a little to recover a bit of that wonderful texture?
Thanks for all the comments, I really appreciate it! My monitor may be off, but I agree with Bryan on the corrections. I think I would actually have to see this on a calibrated monitor, though. Or, I can just print this at 20x30 for $9 at Sams and check it out!
This was at 22mm on a crop sensor Canon XSi using a Tamron 18-200mm. I'm trying to deal with a huge panoramic shot done at 18mm that shows the entire storm cloud. I'll post that once I learn how to tackle it
