Brown Park Waterfall
With all the rain we have had lately I decided to try and find some new waterfalls to photograph. I came across this place on the internet and went over earlier this week to check it out. This was in Brown's park in Abilene.

Plenty of water running and plenty of mosquitoes! This used to be an old mill and there are a few remnants left. The falls where pretty, but the entire area around them was covered in concrete, made it tough to get a shot of anything but the falls. Might have more potential in the fall if the trees have color and I would imagine it would still be running well in winter.

Scott, I really like the combination of the smooth water at the top of the falls and the silky effect in the run out.

Nice! With all the rain we've had recently, I expect we'll have a bumper crop of skeeters this year.
