I noticed over the past few week several people have been posting two to three images each post in the critique form. I thought this was not allowed. Can someone please clarify. Thanks. Ron

Good question Ron. I've wondered the same thing recently after seeing folks include more than one different image in the same post in the critique forums.

You are still allowed to only post 1 image in the avian image critique forum per thread, unless it is a different version of the same image (a reworked image or alternate crop of the same image). I'm not going to see every post or comment as it happens. When I do see multiple images in the same thread I either delete them or include a comment in their thread that says not to do so in the future.

I haven't seen the same person do this more than once recently but if you want to email the name or names of people I will take a look at it.

No need for names. I have just been noticing a lot more multiple image posts lately, so I wanted to make sure the rules had not changed.

Fred your reposts were totally within the rules so no need to apolgize for anything.

I just did this also with a photo of a American robin with a leg problem in the bird photography forum. Your allowed to post two photos in the avian forum so I did not think it was an issue. I really only needed to post one photo of the robin but after putting up the first image it was clear that you could not see the issue with the leg so I cropped and posted up a second image. I did not know that it was a no no so I wont do it again sorry.

Hi Douglas,
You are allowed to post multiple images in the Bird Photography Discussion Forum as you did. However, you are only allowed to post 1 image (plus reworked versions of the same image) in the Avian Critique Gallery.

Cindy and everybody else. I have no problem with posting multi images in the critique gallery. All I said was I had seen more of this being done lately and knew it was not allowed, so I was just wondering if the rules had changed. Cindy, as far as your second post after your redstart goes, maybe posting it in the discussion forum would have been better as I do not see in the rules that multi images are allowed in the critique galleries even if people request them. Unless of course it is the same image reworked. That is why the discussion forum was started I believe. I too think the moderators do a great job. I too think they have a lot to do. Sticking to the rules keeps their work load down I would think. I know this sounds like sour grapes, but hey, rules are rules, and they should apply and be applied the same for everybody. A while back when I posted a second image it was proptly removed. I certainly will not ever post a second image unrelated image in a critique form again.
