The Edge of Light
Just some rocks in California's Central Valley

Steve, this group of rocks sport an array of wonderful lichen colors. You have enhanced the impact of those colors by catching the shot with some nice light too.

Nice colors and light. I might darken the background some, especially the big rock behind the upper right rock to create a bit more separation. And maybe vignette the upper rt corner a bit, too? Nice find in the central valley. I assume this is the foothills rather than Blackstone Blvd in Fresno?

Harley, I thought I was going to get away with only one curves adjustment, guess not. Thanks and yes it's along the foothills. I've only been to Fresno once looking for pasta before a hike up Half Dome and Di Ciccos has some great spumoni!

Steve, love the color and light. I think the darkened background adds nicely to the separation with the rocks. Best Regards.

A nice simple scene and beautiful light. Well seen Steve.

You've proven that there is beauty in the Central Valley with this image.
I prefer the 2nd version.
