Roadside Delight
I drove around in the beautiful Flint Hills today and was thrilled with all the wildflowers I saw. I thought this spot was pretty with the wildflowers hugging the roadside and lush green grass everywhere else. Somewhere on Old K18 Rd. west of Alma.

Nice shot Angela! I like how you composed with the yellow flowers in the foreground.

Great to see you enjoying the many wonderful spring delights Angela. The goundsel, indigo and just about everything are really doing well this year. I expect summer to continue to be bursting with color. Thanks for sharing.

Nice capture of the wildflowers and the road leads invitingly into the background. It makes we want to see what is over the rise.

Beautiful color, Angela. I'm a little undecided on the composition though. If this were mine, I might consider a crop from the top to about where the yellow marker is next to the road. The top part of the frame just seems a little empty, and doesn't convey the wide-open prairie feeling for me.

Angela, it looks like the wildflowers are in full swing based on this shot. Glad to see you got out wildflower chasing this weekend.

I wish I could get out to take them all in before they're gone. :frown:

I have to agree with Bill on this one, Angela. I like the image a lot when the top portion is hidden.
