Canyon Gnomes
In spite of the high winds gusting across northern Arizona this afternoon, a friend decided to venture out and look for some horses buffeting the wind. Instead, we ended up in this canyon with these families of red capped gnomes. While this was more of a scouting trip, I did grab a few quick images from this place I had not been before.

Nice scene, but the light on 'Mother & Child' is pretty poor.
Hope you can return in better conditions.
I spent the weekend out in the wind and it was a real mistake.

Yeah, good scouting trip.

Incoming clouds to the west blocked the sun near sunset. Tried to brighten/contrast it up, but saw that I was getting some haloing in the sky.

We did find a few other nice places worth coming back for, sans the 30 mph winds and 50 mph gusts. With the full moon coming, I'll make the 2 hour trip again in a few days.
